About Our Ministry

We Acknowledge

  • The Bible is the inspired word of God, upon which we base our faith

  • Faith in Jesus Christ as one's Lord and Savior is the only way to eternal life

  • The Holy Trinity of the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit

  • The deity, death, & resurrection of Jesus Christ

We Encourage

  • Inmates' acceptance of His death on the cross as payment in full for their sins.

  • Inmates to place their faith in Jesus for a renewed purpose for their life on Earth upon release and for eternal and abundant life beyond.

God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. — Romans 5:8

Testimony

  • "You have shown me God's love and in doing so you have brought this convict to tears."

  • “There is no greater privilege or reward than to witness the Holy Spirit's total transformation of a broken life."

    — A Charis Volunteer

  • "I am a volunteer because I believe the Lord called me to express His love for everyone, especially the incarcerated. I serve with a team of men who have the same commitment to serve the Lord. The Holy Spirit gives my life purpose beyond description by allowing me to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and to see him change lives."

  • "All I can say is how humbled I am. For your team to come into our lives here behind prison walls is so amazing. To share your love with us; to not judge us; to not even care about anything but our souls and our salvation through Christ.”
